- View keyed c.r. to c.l., in red ink A to I inclusive, and in black ink 1 to 33 inclusive, referring to printed JRR key; numerals refer also to key in 'Landmarks of Toronto' v.2, pp. 812-15. Pen & ink inscriptions l.r. to l.l. have been covered with tempera (perhaps by Owen Staples, 1914, when JRR printed caption was made). Printed JRR key (referring to the present as "(1914)") now separate. After a drawing by Francis H. Granger (B 13-136). JRR catalogue and printed key date this view 1851; JRR 1912 catalogue dates it 1849. Shows from Gooderham wharf, w. of Trinity St., at the right to Fort York at the left. JRR (1912) 515. Rev.
