Description
Formerly inscribed c.l. to c.r. with numerals 1 to 13 (removed during conservation, August 1975) referring to former JRR printed caption with key; key also in JRR catalogue. Xerox copy of drawing showing numerals and including former JRR printed caption in Accession File. The key is based on the date 1862 formerly ascribed to the drawing. A wood engraving (Acc. 984-11-2) which appears to be after this drawing is in The Pictorial Times, London, 28 February? 1846, p. 132, top.
