PERFECTLY TIGHT DECK SEAMS BY THE USE OF DR. COLE'S ELASTIC. OE AM COMPOSITION and Elastic Deck Seam Paint, Pure White, Jet Black and Wood Colors, 22" For filling deck and all other seams above or below water; cracks and checks in rails, bowsprits, masts, etc. FROM A CIVIL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEER. Messrs Cole & Kuhls. Gentlemen: In reply to your letter inquiring as to how I found the "Seam Paint" and "Elastic Seam Composition" would say that it is all you claim for it. I used it in overhauling my launch and a season's test proves it greatly superior to putty. I used it in two particu- larly bad seams, in which I had in vain tried to make putty stay, and on examination a few days ago, found that it had not the least sign of crack- ing or falling out. On either old or new work I shall certainly use it in the future, and have no hesitation in recommending it to any one. (Signed) Winfield Davidson. Rockville Centre, L. I., Nov. 29, 1899.
