'TAE Marine REVIEW | The Simplex Hatch Fastener These cuts illustrate the Simplex Hatch Fastener as applied to the hatches of lake vessels. The left hand cut shows the fastener in posi- tion on the hatch, and the right hand cut the fastener when open and housed away inside of the bracket. These fasteners are made in different patterns for use with any style of hatch coamings and for wood or steel covers. These fasteners are now in use on over eighty vessels on the lakes, about 40,000 in all having been fitted. SIMPLEX HATCH FASTENER COMPANY, JAMES NACEY, Agent. 209 Western Reserve Building.
