FOR CHICAGO
The New, Swift and Magnificent Steam Packet
AMERICA.
CAPTAIN D. HOWE.
Will leave BUFFALO for CHICAGO, and Intermediate Ports,
On. at o'clock M.
---
The AMERICA is entirely new, of the largest class, and was built with directions reference to safety, comfort and speed. She is propelled by two powerful Engines of 600 Horse Power each. She is spacious in all her arrangements, having a variety of State and Family Bed Rooms, and can accommodate more persons in magnificent style, than any Boat on the Western waters. The Boat is also lighted with Solar Gas, which imparts a brilliant and happy effect to her Saloons during the evenings.--To add to the comfort and happiness of the Passengers, a Band of Music is engaged for the Season, to cheer their passage. In all respects the AMERICA is one of the best and pleasantest boats afloat.
