DESCRIPTION Two engines of this size and type direct connected to separate propeller shaft are to be installed in a 16,850 deadweight ton tanker now building. The en- gines are of 4-cylinder, 2-cycle, solid injection, Sun-Doxford opposed piston type, operating under low compression (285 lbs.) pump main crankshaft and is located between the third and fourth cyl- inders.
