This engine is of the two-cycle sol- id injection direct re- versible crosshead type of marine diesel en- gine. A_ feature of this engine is its open construction similar in this respect to the steam engine. A sim- ple sturdy engine de- signed for hard serv- ice, it is also readily maneuvered.
