happens un- der the fire room floor The process of extinguishing a fire under the fire room floor with a FoAM- ITE Generator System is a simple one. The water pressure is turned on at the Generator, and FOAMITE Generator Powder poured into the Generator hopper until the fire is extinguished. 1 Under the fire room floor is a sim- ple piping system terminating in dis- tributor heads. Firefoam, developed by the Generator, flows through these pipes, pours out of the distributor heads, covers the entire tank top and bilge area, and smothers the fire. The action is simple, direct, and immediate. The fire is out. Reflash is impossible. With such a fire protection system you have the advantages of minimum weight and space requirements, with low initial cost, and practically no maintenance. If you are not fully acquainted with the many applications of the FoAMITE Generator System ask for a demonstration of the Foamite Gene- rator.
