CMAN) INeWACW. January, 1931 HE scope of Todd Service is graphically illustrated in the fact that, for the first time in the history of the Port of New York, a vessel of this size has been able to drydock in the Harbor. With such outstanding docking and berthing facilities and unsurpassed equipment in the Port of New York, every phase of marine repair, conversion, reconditioning and overhaul is immediately available for either regular or emer- gency operations, and all within the confines of Todd Yards. The saving in time in having drydocking facilities for large vessels within New York Harbor allows for resumption of sailing schedules much earlier than has hitherto been possible.
