Description
This watercolor illustrates two vessels running before a storm in open water. The nearest is a two-masted scow schooner. Behind that is a smaller vessel with a single, gaff-rigged mainsail. The heavy brushwork indicates a piece created by a mature Robert Hopkin. It was donated by the estates of Emma J. and Drusilla King Farwell.
