- This oil painting, titled "5:30 P.M. Departure - Destination Buffalo, N.Y” is by Charles T. Stobar. It shows a port-quarter bow view of the D&C steamer Greater Detroit backing away from the D&C dock at the foot of Wayne Street in Detroit. The Ambassador Bridge is at the right rear of the picture. The ship, along with her sister Greater Buffalo, were the largest sidewheelers built in North America. Charles Stobar was a model maker and sculptor for General Motors Corp. The undated painting was donated by J. Michael O'Brien.
