Description
The small steamer Island Queen was built for Datus Kelley in 1855 by Daniel Dibble on Kelley's Island in Lake Erie. She initially ran from Sandusky, Ohio to the islands, and later was owned by various Detroit interests, running from that city to the Lake Erie islands. Reduced to a barge in 1876, and sank near Grand Haven that same year.
