Description
This dynamic watercolor of the steamer Sheboygan was painted by June Perry, artist, diver, and wife of maritime historian C. Patrick Labadie. It is undated.
The Sheboygan was built in Manitowoc, Wisconsin by Greenleaf Rand for the Goodrich Transportation Company in 1869. It operated on various Goodrich routes around Lake Michigan through 1914, when it was sold for scrap.
