- Description
- One framed watercolor painting of the passenger steamship, SS Normac, of the Owen Sound Transportation Company. The painting shows a port side bow view of the ship which is moored at a dock in Manitowaning, Georgian Bay, Ontario.
Trees and grass are visible along a shoreline in the foreground. A harbor and faint shoreline can be seen in the background. The artist has signed his name, "Paul C. LaMarre, '75," in the lower left corner. The print is mounted in a decorative walnut or cherry wood frame with a light blue matte border and protective glass. The wood frame has a multi-layered molding which has been stained dark brown and finished with clear semi-gloss lacquer or varnish.
